Information We Collect
Local Data
Science of Being Great stores your goals, habits, and exercises locally on your device. This data does not leave your device unless you enable AI Insights. No account is required to use the app.
AI Insights
AI Insights is enabled by default and can be disabled at any time in the app settings. When enabled, your goals, habits, and exercise data are sent to an AI service to generate personalized insights and recommendations. This data is used solely to provide insights and is not used to train AI models. When AI Insights is disabled, all data remains entirely on your device.
Account Information
Science of Being Great does not require an account. Your data is stored locally on your device.
Camera and Photos
Science of Being Great does not access your camera or photo library.
Purchase Information
Science of Being Great is a paid app. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide goal tracking, habit building, and exercise features
- To generate AI-powered insights when the feature is enabled
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. When AI Insights is enabled, your data is shared with our AI service provider solely to generate insights. When AI Insights is disabled, no data is shared with any third party.
Data Retention
Your data is stored locally on your device and is retained as long as the app is installed. Data sent for AI Insights is processed in real time and is not stored permanently on our servers. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
Advertising
Science of Being Great does not display advertisements and does not share data with advertising networks.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access – Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Deletion – Request deletion of your personal data
- Correction – Request correction of inaccurate data
- Opt-out – Disable AI Insights in the app settings to stop all data sharing, or contact us to opt out of other data collection
